Greening of RSAs stadia for the World Cup 2010

To provide the process and the technical assessment to ensure that the stadia to be used for the 2010 World Soccer Cup are of the best possible qualities with regard to sustainability, environment etc.
A total of 12 stadia have received the offer of this assessment process. As by the end of the notice period letter of buy-in has been received from one: Durban (King Senzangakhona Stadium). Initially the applied to this stadium only. Later Cape Town, Green Point and Athlone; Rustenberg , Royal Bafokeng and Peter Mokaba- Polokwane and eTekwini, Moses Mabida were added. Also lessons learnt and the Executive summary were done.
