The product to be made is a manual with the adjoined capacity building, addressing the technical needs for an authority to provide a state-of the-art assessment, legal approvals and monitoring schemes, emission values, prescriptions for monitoring and other prescriptions. eThekwini will supply with a specific case, ASSMANG MANGANSE to the elaboration + test of the product.
The process is a collaboration with DEAT (Mazwi Lushaba, Melissa Fourie). This seems very relevant, as other partners (e. g. KZN province) tell us that they need, in fact, technical guidance on how to manage the assessments, etc. etc. related to this type of industries which are still placed in densely populated areas.
